Americans are obssessed with perfect teeth.  Almost all their celebrities have  rows of perfect, white teeth that have been treated with teeth whitening products.  You rarely see any celebrity without teeth whitening.

So, I read that Leon Jackson was asked to get his teeth gap fixed if he wants to hit the American market.  If you do not know who is Leon Jackson, he is that 18 years old X-Factor winner in 2007.  He is about to cut an album.  He is from Scotland and XFactor is an English production.

I have been going back to Little India several times because I am totally in love with their soaps. Then, I discovered that the shops also sell imported from India ayurvedic toothpaste which claims to help with teeth whitening. The answer is a flat no. I have done a lot of researches on teeth whitening websites, both independent and companies producing or doing teeth whitening services and all said no one gets whiter teeth with constant brushing of teeth with tooth whitening toothpaste.

Then, why are all those advertisements selling teeth whitening toothpastes claim that our teeth can get whiter? Well, that’s advertising for you, my dear friends.

Our teeth turned yellowish from the kind of foods we eat, the drinks and also with smoking. Red wines are known to stain teeth. So is coffee. And the most evil of all is smoking.

So, if one wants to get brighter, whiter teeth, then one has to spend money on doing teeth whitening through the various methods. Then, we can maintain it with teeth whitening toothpaste by brushing diligently. Otherwise, to get whiter teeth through brushing is just a fallacy.

I do not know how true this video is but it certainly looks fun to get teeth whitening done at home like how it is carried out in the dentist office. The video claim that the normal costs of teeth whitening done in the dentist office will costs USD300 or more. They said it is the same kind of professional teeth whitening kit used by the dentist.

It has been a while since I went into a cinema for show.  So, each advertisement is a new advertisement to me.  I love the ads before movie because they are usually longer and much more interesting.  But of course, that’s because I don’t watch a movie every day or even every week.  So, a few advertisements are fine with me.

There is this Listering Whitening mouthwash advertisement.  It shows a spotlight shining all over the cinema.  On the seat number, on the wall on the screen.  And when the show starts, this guy told his girlfriend, “The movie is starting, close your mouth.”  LOL, it was her white, sparkling teeth that are emitting the lights earlier on.

I have never try teeth whitening using Listerine Whitening mouthwash.  I do not know if it works.  I did try another toothpaste with teethwhitening ingredients but it gives me sensitive teeth.  So, I doubt I will want to sample the Listerine Whitening mouthwash.

Any satisfied user can tell me if it can cause sensitive teeth?

Then, there is the Listerine Quick Dissolving strips.  Some folks told me it works for them.  But I have crowns made of enamel so I am not sure if I should test it?

Today, a new star is born. David Cook took the title of the American Idol Season 7. He deserves it, really. Although David A gave a better performance yesterday, I knew David Cook is the favourite of the crowd and also the judges. Frankly, I think Simon Cowell purposely gave a less pleasant judging on David Cook as a reverse psychology. When the judging is bad, voters tend to vote more to prop up the stars.

This evening, Simon Cowell made an open apology to David Cook that he has not been fair in his judging yesterday. Anyway, everything is over.

However, Ryan Seacrest was the butt of the joke of the funny guy. I do not know the name but that guy certainly loves to poke fun on Seacrest and his very notable tan and white teeth. Since Ryan Seacrest endorse teeth whitening products, I am sure the sales will soar soon because Ryan Seacrest certainly looks good in the finals of American Idol with his clean shaven face, tan look and of course, the celebrity sexy smile that is his signature look.

Overall, it was an entertaining two hours with so many yummy looking stars, both young and old, new and classic.
